An upright perennial that blooms in late spring to mid-summer. Also known as clustered bellflowers. These violet blooms make great cuts and also attract butterflies and hummingbirds.
Plant these in full sun to half sun/half shade areas. They prefer moist soil and spread via underground rhizomes. Use them in areas you want them to naturalize. Try pairing them with yarrow or coreopsis.
Grows 18-20" tall and should be spaced about 14" apart from each other to give them space to form a clump. Water well until roots are established and you see new growth.
Pickup this Saturday at Brookside Farmer's Market or on-site at the farmstand located in south KC off of Red Bridge and Holmes Rd. Address given after checkout.
