The package is for 5 bulbs.  Grows about 8-10" tall.  These bulbs are pre-cooled so they are ready to be forced for the holidays OR plant in the ground and give it a good head-start for solid blooms in the spring.
 
If spring had a smell, the fragrance of hyacinths would be right up there.  These flowers are actually a collection of smaller florets.  Cut to fill your home with it's fragrance or string the florets together to make a garland or necklace.
 
Bulbs will perennialize and come back each year. Deer Resistant.
 
Some people find hyacinth bulbs irritating to the skin so you may want to wear gloves when handling them.
