Every landscape needs yarrow because it comes in fantastic colors, is beloved by pollinators, avoided by deer, and is drought tolerant once established. What's not to love!
Yarrow foliage has a lovely herbaceous scent. These flat topped flowers add whimsy to the landscape and loves full sun. Cut the stems for vases once the pollen begins to show on the tiny blooms. The first flush comes in summer, but you will see more stems later in the season.
Grows about 20" high and should be spaced about 18" apart. Plant several together for impact. Dies back in the winter and comes back each year.
Plants come in 4" pots.
Pickup this Saturday at Brookside Farmer's Market or on-site at the farmstand in South KC off of Red Bridge and Holmes. Address given after checkout.
