Also known as a pincushion flower, this perennial variety veers towards a more elegant look with an open face and flowy petals in a rich indigo hue.  
 
Stems are almost leafless and give a sculptural quality to vases on wiry stems.  Seed pods are also texturally interesting.
 
Plant these in good soil 12-18" apart and water daily until well-established. 
 
Seedlings will arrive in 2.5" pots.
